Warm Tips
SmCo permanent magnetic material has the characteristics of brittleness and lacking of the ductilitys,so it is not suitable for being used as structural parts when being designed. The physical properties of SmCo5 are better than Sm2Co17's because SmCo5 is easy to machine while Sm2Co17 is more brittle. The magnetized SmCo magnet must be picked up carefully during the process of assembling, and separated from other magnets to prevent attracting mutually and then resulting in magnet breaking or even body-hurt.
Sintered SmCo magnet would make some slight collision in the process of production, magnetization, packaging and transportation, so there may be some visual flaws, for example, chips, etc. However, it wouldn't damage its magnetic properties, its stability or its anti -demagnetization as long as its flaws don't affect normal assembling or functions.
Customers who need unmagnetized SmCo magnet must be familiar with their own magnetizing equipments so as to choose our grades which can be magnetized fully.
